Sleep - A Major Key for Success
Long nights of studying and sleeplessness are often indicative of the life of a college student, entrepreneur or practically any career focused individual. Achieving success does require extra hours and hard-work but not at the expense of your own health and well-being.
Studies have shown that lack of sleep causes trouble with thinking or concentration, weakened immunity, weight gain, mood swings and other not so helpful effects.
On the other hand, enough sleep improves your memory, your quality of life and your health; spurs creativity, improves grades and sharpens your attention. All of which will help you to perform optimally in college.
Author, columnist and businesswoman, Arianna Huffington has spoken and written about the benefits of sleep. In this short TED talk, she shares some of those benefits. Have a look!
