This week, be intentional about being happy. Things may not go exactly the way they should but, in the midst of it, find something to be thankful for, share a smile or a joke with a friend, do something kind for someone… these are all ways to boost your happiness!
Here is a handy list of happiness boosters that you can incorporate daily.
20 mins of movement - exercise or walking.
60 seconds of deep breathing.
Meditation or prayer.
Do something kind for someone else.
Do something you enjoy doing, for example, read a book, listen to music, gardening, art.
Keep a daily gratitude journal - write a list of blessings you are thankful for and look at it when you need a quick pick-me-up.
Get some self-care/pampering like a massage, manicure/pedicure, new hairstyle...
Call a good friend or family member - having a good conversation can change your mood.
Write your achievements for the day. Celebrate yourself!
